[ Lapis watches, quiet, for his reaction; maybe it's silly to be so anxious, but she did want to make this year a special one. And she wanted Husk to know that she appreciates him - even with all the dumb fights and stupid bullshit they get into, there's nobody else who she would want to be her dad. He was there for her when she was brought into the Order an angry, traumatised mess and he kept being there for her as the Order kept trying to wear her down.

But seeing him try - and fail - to hide the emotion the gift brings is enough to make her perk up, giving him a warm smile in response. She's thrilled he likes it, and even more so that it at least shows a fraction of how much she cares about him. ]

I'm glad you like it... [ And the best cure for 'allergies'? A hug, of course, and she steps closer so that she can wrap her arms around him. ]

[Honestly their dumb fights and stupid bullshit were how they truly showed they loved each other. Sure, they might look insane and petty to anyone on the outside, but that's just how the Agapovs roll. Though as much as Husk generally wasn't one for big shows of emotion, Lapis really did mean the whole fucking universe to him. He'd do anything for her. With only minimal grumbling.

The hug is a great cure for his terrible 'allergies', and he returns it, giving her a tight squeeze. ]

[ There's a tight squeeze in return, not able to stop herself from smiling brightly now as she leans back just enough to peer up at him. He really does mean the world to her, so she's glad she has a chance to try to properly show this - and being lovingly called a "dumbass" only makes her giggle. ]

I wanted to make something a little more special this year. Especially now that I'm officially an Agapov and we can celebrate this in person.
