APPEARANCE
Husk's demonic form is an anthropomorphic feline-avian hybrid. The sclera of his eyes are black, with yellow irises and slitted pupils. He has long, red feathered eyebrows and a small black heart above each eyebrow as facial markings. The hand and toe beans of his kitty paws are little orange hearts. He has red hearts on the inside of his ears. His tail ends in red, white and black feathers. His wings are red on the back, and black on the front, with a pattern much like a roulette wheel. He has a mermaid tail when submerged in water. General outfits

SUMMARY
Husk is a guy who's pretty done with life and all the bad hands it has dealt him. He's pretty grouchy and standoffish on a good day. However, he is observant and empathetic- good at reading people and what they need in life. Once someone gets into his crusty old heart, he is extremely loyal and will care a great deal about them. Even if he won't admit it.
BACKGROUND
Canon
- Lived a life as a Vegas magician with a gambling and alcohol addiction.
- Died in the 1970s in his 60s, his soul went to Hell, became a demon and took the form of a winged cat.
- Was an Overlord (a ruling class in Hell) for an indeterminate amount of time.
- Gambled away the souls he owned as an Overlord. Attempted to keep hold of his power by gambling his soul against Alastor. Alastor won and took ownership of Husk's soul. Husk spent at least a couple decades at Alastor's beck and call.
- Alastor summoned him to the Hazbin Hotel, the Princess of Hell's demon rehab project to send sinners to Heaven. Alastor ordered Husk to be the hotel's bartender and front desk clerk.
- Husk got attached to the weirdos in the hotel and got himself a found family despite himself.
- Helped defend the hotel and his family against the angel's assault, then remained to help rebuild in the aftermath.
AU history
- Born to Russian immigrant parents. Grew up in Las Vegas in the casinos. Learned many languages (English, Italian, Russian, German, Mandarin, Spanish, and Japanese.).
- Fell in love with stage magic, and became a performer. Unfortunately also picked up a gambling and alcohol addiction. Used his sleight-of-hand skills to hustle at cards.
- He cheated the wrong people (mobsters) and was taken out into the desert to be shot. This triggers his past life memories- turning him into his demonic body as he used his abilities to blow up the people trying to kill him. Leaving him confused in the desert, suddenly not human and surrounded with corpses.
- The Black Order recruited him- knowing he'd be helpless against remaining mobsters seeking revenge if he got Sealed, he reluctantly joined them. He never bought into their doctrine, but it was better than being dead.
- He was skilled at gathering intel with his observational skills and use of his spirit companion. He rose up through the ranks and had a fairly respected position. His vices never left but he learned to mask them well- though The Order tried to send him to AA and GA often.
- He mentored several young recruits, never sugarcoating the life they were now stuck in and preparing them as best he could. One, Marlon, died on his first solo mission at 18-years-old. The Order's callous disregard made him spiral and lost control of his addictions again. He was demoted a lot.
- His last recruit was Lapis De Fiore. He got very close to her, despite himself, and sees her as a daughter. She has looked after him in turn as he's got older- pulling him out of the gutter many times. The Order noticed this and used Lapis as a means to keep Husk in line- not above using a threat against one of their own.
- He remains their intel guy- known largely as a washout who pissed away a promising career. He uses most of his salary to feed his addictions and gets bartending jobs both for intel gathering and to give him extra cash for his habits. He wishes he could be assigned Florida, but they won't do it.
- He has come to Kaisou to find out what has been happening with the TBO group here.

Regained memories
- Mixed memories of the hotel residents. His strongest memories are of Alastor, Angel and Niffty, AKA the people he knew best in his past life.
- That he died and spent decades in Hell as a demon. He doesn't remember how he died. He doesn't remember a lot about his human, living life in his past life.
- That he was an Overlord and that he gambled away the souls he owned and then lost his own to Alastor.
- That he was forced to be the bartender and front desk clerk at the Hazbin Hotel and what Charlie was trying to achieve through it.
- Angels are fucking assholes, he remembers the yearly exterminations. He has vague memories of the attack on the Hotel.
- That he died and spent decades in Hell as a demon. He doesn't remember how he died. He doesn't remember a lot about his human, living life in his past life.

ABILITIES
DEMONIC PERKS (CANON)
- Flight at normal speeds
- Regenerative abilities - Regular-ass injuries heal within minutes/hours. Mortal blows might take a day or so to heal from. He can even survive total body destruction (such as being exploded) - though it takes a few days for him to reform again. The one exception to this is angelic (holy) weapons. While Husk can still touch these he would end up with permanent damage from any holy weapon injury and he will straight-up immediately die if he's struck with a mortal blow from one.
- Immortality - He doesn't age and can live effectively forever. However, it is possible for him to die by any other means (see regen abilities).

MOLECULAR ACCELERATION (CANON)
He can take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy, making it explode. Limited to items the size of dice/cards, etc.
MISFORTUNE (GENERAL)
Constant. He has a -4 debuff on any dice rolls.
CONJURE ICE (WATER)
Low. Conjure a cup worth of ice cubes.
SPIRIT COMPANION (WATER)
Small. It's a tarantula named Anthony. Husk uses him for spying mostly.
MERMAID TAIL (WATER)
Shapeshift to have a mermaid tail or fins when wet. Comes with fast swimming.
DRINK PROFICENCY (WATER)
Master. Immediate proficiency when making any drinks.
WATER MANIPULATION (WATER)
Medium. You have some control over small amounts of water. You could control the movements of a bucket of water, or remove water from a damp article of clothing.
CONJURE WATER (WATER)
Low. Conjure a cup of water. It's probably(?) drinkable.
FREEZE WATER (WATER)
Master- Freeze water enough to make an ice bridge that people can easily cross. How long the platform lasts depends on the temperature.
MOON BOOST (WATER)
Low. You gain a minor power boost when the moon is out. The power boost grows based on how full the moon is. By contrast, your power slightly diminishes when the moon isn't out or it's a new moon.
WATER TENTACLE (WATER)
Conjure two water tentacles. Tentacles can be controlled by you.
TALK WITH FISH (WATER)
Can have basic conversations with fish.
COLD RESISTANCE (WATER)
High. Can withstand temperatures as cold as -100F (-73C) without a coat.
SENSE PRESCENCE (GENERAL)
Master. Sense the presence of others within 500 feet.
ICE BARRIER (GENERAL)
Ice Barrier: Regardless of your element, you can now create barriers of ice.

You can make prophecies that cover a person's entire lifespan, unfortunately you can only communicate it through cryptic prophecy. Your visions, dreams and other fortune telling skills are crystal clear, but again - will anyone believe you?

Full - Can breathe underwater.
STRETCHY BODY (GENERAL)
Your body can become stretchy. It will start with about a foot worth of stretch, but can be retained to go further. Effect can last a week or be permanent. If they already have stretch, they get another foot of stretch.

MAGICAL
- Magic Polaroid Camera: Taking a photo of someone will show a scene in their canon setting.

- Haunted Tamagotchi: A tamagotchi that seems normal, but if you kill the tamagotchi the spirit of it will haunt you until you do an appeasement ritual or exorcise it. It looks like a smiling deer. Husk killed it out of spite.
- Clippy: Clippit/Clippy the Microsoft Office Assistant becomes a summonable companion. He will try to offer help on various writing tasks, but his actual usefulness is questionable.
- Magic Coat: A coat that will change to match your style and the weather.
- Color Changing Instrument: An instrument that will light up and change colors based on the music being played. Players or mods can decide the instrument, but it must be one that can be held in their hands. It's a saxophone!
- Singing Frog: A frog that sings and dances, but only when you're around. If you try to show anyone else, it acts like a normal frog.
- Cup of purity: A drinking cup made of a unicorn's horn. When you drink a liquid from it, it'll neutralize any poisons or toxins in your body (unless plot says otherwise). Pouring poison into it will also neutralize the poison and make it safe to drink. Unfortunately, this applies to alcohol too.
- Glutton's Fork: A golden fork that can turn up to 3 items a day into illusion style food. Cannot be used on living beings or plot-specific items.
